The custom is a pray for rain performed in july or august when the weather becomes dry usually in a weekday.
A girl between the age of 10 and 12 years is chosen for a butterfly and is dressed only in a shirt. Around her is wrapped up a rope with stuck in green twigs. Two girls lead the “butterfly” girl around the village in every house. Other girls are walking after them adorned with twigs and copper kettles in hands. One of the girls sprinkles all around with basil bunch.
Along the road all of the girls are dancing and singing “From below beautiful Rada is comming”. Every owner of a house presents the “butterfly” girl with eggs, cheese, and flour.
